This tour could only have happened at this time in my life. Whether solo or by way of such a wonderful collaboration as Spitting Lady. I never stopped writing, but I've shared few of works because I was still living in some of those moments (even got a poem about seizing the moment vs living in the moment). Yeah, sharing in the midst of some storms are therapeutic, but not all the time. I've gain a deeper respect for timing and positioning.

How I would describe Jamela Lrato's poetry?
"I want to eat your poems for dinner! You serve them on platters like I'm royalty. You don't just drive by giving me cheese or deliver leftover orders of empathy. You tell it like 'tis and anybody who don't like it still show it & say, girl, you put your foot it, cause they respect it! You have satisfied customers, but they don't get it their way.You use your own recipe without measure. You teach us to cook our poems in our own kitchens. Your recipes are secrets and if we can figure the ingredients, your poem is pleased. If we don't, bump it cause you're Lrato, dying to share, but writing for you."
